1. Apply: With the hair clean, begin applying Select One, keeping a 1 cm distance from the scalp. Apply the product strand by strand and, with the help of a fine-tooth comb, distribute the product along the entire length of the fiber.
2. Processing time: Make sure all of the hair has received the product, and allow a processing (pause) time of 1 hour to 1.5 hours (depending on the diagnosis of the hair).
3. Rinse: After the pause time, rinse 100% of the product out of the hair, leaving no residue — rinse with water only.
4. Blow-dry and flat-iron: With the hair damp, separate it into four sections and begin blow-drying/brushing in thin sections. Comb the hair thoroughly to accentuate the satin shine of the fiber. Then flat-iron the thin sections 10 to 15 times.
5. Heat control: Pay special attention to controlling the flat iron's temperature — this is a rule for any treatment on bleached hair: work at a temperature no higher than 180 °C. That way the heat does not burn or oxidize the hair, and it does not discolor — not even on platinum strands.
6. Seal the shine: Brush the hair while it is still damp and activate the satin shine by sealing it with a blow-dryer.
7. Residue check: It is important to rinse properly before starting the mechanical process (brushing and flat-ironing). Remove 100% of the product and make sure no residue remains.
8. Stabilize: When the mechanical process is finished, wet the hair again and apply the Equalize Mask to stabilize and improve the performance of the product.
